Yes loving that white Supercharger lurking in the back ground, thats Kirstys new car, hence the reason for us having her old red T-bar.

I want a Supercharger!!

Well our project nearly come to and end last weekend when we stripped down the front of our AW11 to find a twisted mess, and a bent chassis, with far too much work needed to ever see the road again, let a lone a track, but good news, we bought another AW11 on Friday, and after having a good poke around yesterday, its a good one and is structurally solid and a perfect base for our track car, just a few cosmetics to sort out.

Our GT4 discs have been taken away for re-machining to four stood, and we have a set of track springs coming in exchange for one of our spare bonnets from the first car.

For photos and yesterdays fun and games click below..

A full diary and photo case book of the work we carry out on the project mk1 track car will be documented in each issue of MR2 Only Magazine

Update pics of the MR2 Magazine track car, next weekend the car is having the Celica big brake upgrade fitted live at the mk1 club stand at a classic car restoration show, along with engine service items, and possibly some track springs, we have our first track day on the 18th at Donnington, so it will be good to drive the car on track in a pretty much standard set up, so we can see what improvements we make by uprating and stripping out weight, will post up pics as we progress, each project we undertake will be feature in MR2 Only magazine
