Question Thought it couldnt get worse...

Well, lets see. Were to begin... got an 86 MR2 from roomate. Picked up the whip at a shaddy- ass shop. Driving home, I pulled up at an intersection and the guy next to my started waving and yellin that I was on fire. Ohhh Sh*t! Jumped out and saw the same oil leak leaking on the same exhaust manifold creating the same Cheech & Chong smoke screne. Replaced the cam front seals, oil filter housing seals. Reinstalled the timing belt,( rockin the 4a-ge n/a), Thinking that i had all 3 pulleys in the correct location, turned the ign. to start and... BANG!!! Blew my AFM homemade intake completely off the brackets and crushed my PowerAdder cone filter 2 inches deep. Not good, right? Gets better. Bought a new timing belt and 7-8 tries later finally got it on and tensioned wiyhout losing my pullye positions. Shorted the T-E1 terminals, checked dist. for any defects...cranked on the key, starter turning, but motor not firing. Got spark, fuel, air. What's wrong? Backfire damaged the AFM maybe? HELP!!!

Angry Yep, it got worse..

out that we had the camk timing off by 1 tooth. 1 tooth! I'm not allowed near any tyope of internal combustion engine for at least 3-6 weeks. And the last intake backfire? Shorted out all of my sensors( afm, tps, vc, vs, etc...) Trouble codes 2, 7, 8, and 11 came up. Now gonna look for a donor eng w/ appropriate wiring and sensor conn. Also did comp. test on all cyl. and got 68, 70, 35, 70 psi. book says i should have min. 142 psi. any thoughts or corrections if im wrong? I say blown head gasket. New motor time... help?
