have you ruled out Advance or other parts stores? I buy mine (MK2) from there with lifetime warranties. Granted I've been through 2 already in 5 years....but all I have to do is take the core in each time and grab another....I think its worth the 30minutes to change it. Is your stock unit not able to be repaired/or you don't have one?

Just buy a new one and get a warranty. Make sure it's a Denso one though, and not a Bosch. I got the lifetime warranty Bosch, and I'm on my 4th in 2 years. No charging problems, they just really don't like getting wet, or high rpm use.
