quick question, need answer ASAP!!!

Ok, so I'm typing this as i sit in keyboarding class, looking over my shoulder to make sure the teach doesnt spot me. After school today, i need to buy one of those all purpose flex pipe they sell over at PepBoys Auto, but i need to be sure of the diameter i'll need.

what size is the down pipe on the 85 MK1?
2.5 in or 3? or 2in?

please be sure cuz i dont want to waste anymore money if i buy the wrong size.

the 85 doesn't have a down pipe... it'll either have a cast manifold or a header. I think the stock exhaust is only 1.5" or 1.75", but either way you'll have to weld the flex pipe on to the exhaust. Your best bet would be to measure the piping on yours.
