Help, battery relocate and air filter change
Hi guys, I need to relocate my battery to the frunk. I know there have been many that have done this. I would like to know how to do it. I want to use a normal size battery and I want a system that has been in use without any problems for at least two years. Please.
Secondly, I need to reduce the area taken up by the stock air filter and afm equipment. The afm hopefully can be moved closer to the throttle body and a K and N type open filter could be used. Can you list what would be needed and what problems this could cause? This is on a stock 86. thank you. |

hope this helps. http://www.knfilters.com/search/appsearch.aspx the only problem with his setup that i have found is if you give it hell on dirt you will be washing your filter all the time. i added another hose to get more cold air to my filter aswell and as K&N say dont put the hosing against the poddie, give it a 4 inch gap so the air isn't forced into the poddie. my friend had his hosing against it and at high speed it made the engine run lean. as for the battery i have never done it, sorry
