looking for raidator options

Wow,it's been a while since I've been on the board. The site looks better but looks like the same questions are being asked, and I'm asking this one again.
Now I really need one, it's not just preventative. My radiator is rusted to nothing, and now it's finally leaking. Car is sitting on some random street about 10 miles from my house.

Anyway, I am looking for a radiator, I can't seem to find anyone who makes aftermarket radiators, and the only oem I can find are for ridiculous prices around 500. Does anyone know of someone who makes a cheaper version, or where to get a good priced OEM. PLease help!

I haven't checked for MR2 radiators but when I bought one for my Jeep http://www.radiators.com beat everyone else by a good margin for an OE radiator. They had aftermarket options available too.

if you have anyone that does turbo/intercooler work in your area then give them a call. most of them will be able to make one up for you.

Yeah, I checked out radiators.com and they are wanting like 550. No aftermarket listed. I will definitely check that out Mista. Thanks

The reason it was so expensive from radiators.com is because they don't stock it. They've buying it from a dealer then reselling to you .. how lame.

Another possible source would be http://www.car-part.com. A fantastic way to check stock in most junkyards nation wide. A lot of times the radiators you'll get from junkyards have actually been cleaned and pressure tested too.

Depending on how long you can wait, Summit Racing has them on their website but the ship date is the 23rd. Listed for only $160 though....

1985-89 MR2 Radiator

EDIT: Advance Auto Parts has them even cheaper ($113) and you could go into one of the stores, order it and they'd have it in one business day.

Thanks for checking into it for me. But I need one for a MK2. I am pretty sure NO ONe makes a cheap aftermarket version. I have called everywhere. Just expensive OEM. I think I may have found one at a salvage yard. I'll know tomorrow. Thanks again.
