hey i'm about to do a 4agze swap for my 85 and i was wondering what my competition would be. I know i will out run a ford tempo but what about V6 or V8 my friend has a 2003 dodge quadcab 5spd with a small v8(4.7l) and mt other friend has a 2000 something colbalt SS with aftermarket SC intake and exhaust and what do mustangs look like beside a mr2 a hate mustangs and want to blow them a way but with a little more than just the swap like intake NA cams cam gears and maybe NST crank pulley what can i confidently rev my engine to
and whats the competition for any MR2 stock or mod. thanks!! |

it also depends on what kind of competing you will be participating in
And your skill as a driver vs. the other drivers skill. |

Bro there asre alot of cars you can smoke but there are also alot of factors in doing so, For anyone to tell you what you could smoke would require more information ie, what tires are you running? how many drag races do you have under your belt? Will your mr2 be on a diet? blah blah blah, there are just so many factors, all the cars you can smoke with 145hp will be a fairly short list, MR2s are typically not drag oriented, You have alot better odds racing a mustang through corners than in a straight line.
