I'm finally given up on this mk1 and going out to look for an mk2. I don't want to because i fell in love with this car the day i went to look at it..Buttt... I have an 87 n/a. I recently just rebuilt it and it has after market forged pistons and a new set of bottom end bearings..I have also put a brand new clutch in it. The car has lots and lots of power..its red with black interior pretty clean on the inside.the outer body has a couple of rust hole by the doors but im in the process of fixing them as we speak....the down fall of this is that sometimes it will over heat....usually after you drive it for a long time..I most deff don't think its the head gasket.I have an extra 5spd transmission, lid, motor cover lid, extra set of rims and tires, extra 87 tail lights and i also have a pair from an 85..i live in lansford p.a. I have no clue what i can get for this so make an offer. thankz
