88 MR2 Wont Start

check out the distributor cap you could have some carbon build up on those four little posts if you do just clean it off/sand it off or whatever. check coil, anything spark related, check if it's getting fuel, check compression

My 86 had starting issues and after checking everything, I discovered the pick ups in the disributor were bad. You can check this with an volt/ohm meter or just swap out your distributor. Good luck
