did you compression test it, imo you should never rely on that. my first car a crx i had for a couple of years would produce amazing compression which always misled me into thinking the engine was in good mechanical condition. between valve guides or piston rings something was not sealing, at any rate make sure that its not oil on the spark plugs and make sure that valve timing and 02 are fine(i dont know why it wouldnt throw a code if that was bad but maybe an exhaust leak). i only got my crx to run right 2 seperate days out of about 2 years, fast as ****, then minutes later go back, so i hope you dont have the same problem.
