Clutch line leakage?

I'm new to the forum, (and a new owner ) but i searched for this topic and nothing came up...

I bled and refilled the clutch with brake fluid about 2 weeks ago. I have driven the car about 10 times for varying intervals (15min-2hrs) since that time. I took the car out yesterday and i had increasing play in the clutch pedal and began to grind gears.
I have about 2 inches of play in the pedal and the clutch res. is empty. Now obviously i should refill it before taking it out again.

My question is what do i replace, is i the line...clutch master cyc. or what?

Thanks in advance for your time.

My Google Map

fill it with fluid and have a look at the very top of the clutch peddle and see if there is any weeping. if you cant see anything str8 away then pump the peddle for a while and have another look. if the fluid has gone down and there isnt anything at the top of the clutch then have a look around the slave cyl. it might reveal itself if you are lucky.

good luck

you wont have trouble finding that line, I didn't (part number 31489 for a 91 us turbo).
The flexible hose was part # 31481A
