Personal preference doesnt make it not ugly, it just puts you in the same category as guys that date fat chicks. Hey sure you can get off on it, but do you really want to be seen with it? I think not....

My buddy has a turbo'd integra with lambo doors and he says the same thing "they're cool at first but after a while they get old, annoying and they draw way too much attention".... There is a hinge out there that allows both normal outward opening and then lambo opening, the kicker is they're only made for RX-7s, 3000k/stealts and eclipse/talons.... I've been tempted to (when ever I had the grand + cash lying around) to buy a set and them convert them to fit but the more I think about it the more I realize it's not worth it....

I ordered mine a few days ago. I'm hoping to have them on and working before NOPI St.Louis April 19-20 I'll keep you guys updated.

all haggis did was ask if there were any kits made for them. i didnt see anywhere that he asked if you guys would be *******s to him and diss on him because he wants to do something new to his car. respect his opinions on what he wants to do to HIS car. doesnt mean that if you have an mkI you have to do it too...

the lambo doors are really annoying...you have to open it upward b4 u get out of the car..
so yeah its real a bad a$$ look but pain in the butt...

Lambo doors - no

Gull wing - yes

Speaking purely on looks of course. I could imagine them being the same "hassle" as lambo style doors. I do not like the slanted look of the lambo style, but i do like the horizontal look of the gull wing door.

I think that would be a unique install on a MKI. Probably not work with t-tops or sunroof. I personally wouldn't hack up my "rare" hardtop MKI to try it lol.

How would you put gullwing doors on an MK1 theres no frame around the glass?

Well, I don't have a garage lol. I didn't think about that, I have to park my car in the street every night.

You'd have to do it all custom, probably use the sides of the doors with bent arms and hydraulics positioned horizontally behind each seat. Hard to illustrate in writing, I doubt it would work very well lol.
