Go to Google and search "MR2 BGB." The first link is a Toyota MR2 Factory Service Manual

It has beautiful step-by-step instructions

Do you have access to the BGB? Its helped me a ton. It shouldnt be that hard. The adjustment bolt on the alternator is easy to get to, and all you have to do is loosen the tensioner pully on the a/c belt. both should be pretty straight forward to do. I did mine when the engine was out of the car, so that was the easiest way, but it shouldnt be that bad to do in the car.
