To tint or not to tint, that is the question.

What does everyone here think of mrk1's with tinted windows? I was thinking of tinting my rear windows to about a 20 shade, but I'm not sure if that works for the car. I've looked around the net at mrk1 pics and noticed most people don't tint their windows. I definately don't want to "pimp my ride" just a little privacey would be nice. What do you all think?

I tinted mine on my daily driver (MK 2). I've pretty much always had tinted windows on cars I drive often.

What kind of privacy do you need in a car.

or, eyes as it were...

Anyway, I can't see a big advantage to tinting the windows in a MK1 too much. I'm going to do it to mine though.

I have one tinted and one without. I like them both. On sunny days, tint is good. Backing up at night can be troublesome with tint.
As fer sex in the mr2,,,I cain't git my sheep ta wiggle rite in there.
