help on cigarette lighter socket replacement

Hi there,

The cigarette lighter socket on my 89 SC broke and I want to replace it. What is the easiest way to do it? Do I have to take out the center console or just the small side panel? Thanks a lot for your help.

You don't have to take out the center console (The middle piece splitting passenger and driver) to replace the cigarette lighter socket.

why bother fixing it, if you really love your car then you wouldnt smoke in it anyway
