thermostat

hi my car doen not heat up it always stays below the C line is my thermostat that need replacement or is it something else. i live in the north east so i some heat would be nice also my car revs realy high its provably cause its tryin to heat up but i dont know can some one help me. i have and 86 mr2 4age

let me guess its auto?

yeah replace the thermostat just make sure u line up the dots correctly, on my car it sat on an angle (mk2)

You can actually test the thermostat by placing it in boiling water and seeing if it opens, but hell if you already took it out, pay 6 bucks for one and seal. Btw you ride bmx i see, you said you were from the North east but your avaitor is from dirtwood? Let me know if you ever come back to texas, im live damn near close to austin and san antonio and have a 86 redtop and my parents have their 89 NA. yea i just moved form houston to rhode island a couple of weeks ago and yes i drove my 86 mr2 all the way here lol i dont know if i will ever be in houston again
i was down there for a year and didnt really like it its to hot

o and did u know that dirtwood is closing i found out from my friend in houston
he know jay the owner and he saids that there closing

Whoa, nope sure didnt. Thats a shame, any reasoning behind it? I know bussiness was hard for that place soemtimes, and free parks are starting to dominate the world. Well quick question how did you transport your bike on your mk1? I REFUSE to do another trunk mount bike rack...

yea thats what my friend said that money was bad. but the jay has these crazy trails at his house that he built hes got a x games style drop in with a deathdrop i know that there bringin all the wood to his house. if u go on myspace hes got pictures of the jumps dont know the link and i dont have a my space acount.
about my bike, lol thats what i did i had no choice and while i was in little rock it was pouring like crazy it scratched up my spoiler a bit but my car will get painted soon it was worth it cause i got to ride louisville that place is awesome!
