Prices of power window motors

Long time lurker, 1st time posterI've got an '89 that needs new power window motors. I'd like to know what the going rate of new and used ones are so I don't get ripped off.

Give us more details? It might be the motor gear needing to be replaced and not the motor it's self? Try TAP Recycling (800) 765-7100 and I've seen a couple on ebay.

It used to make a grinding/clicking noise and stop half-way then go all the way up.Now it's just stuck half-way.

Yes that sounds like the motor gear. Constant use with the gear worn may have blown the motor. Try replacing the gear first (on both doors) Twos R Us - Parts for Toyotas from Club MR2 replace the motor if that does not work.

two's are us link that steevo posted is who i bought mine through.

the 1st time getting the motor out to replace the cog is a little tricky (like the 1st time you dropped a aw11 engine) but after doing it once it's hell easy.

make sure the tracks (regulator) arent damaged. they have cables in them and other fairly thin metal bits that can bend and break.. its best to pull apart the door and figure out what broke first.. could be a real easy fix.
