Clear Signals

Well I finally got my clear turn signals in the other day and installed them. I know some people claim they look rice, but I think they go much better with the silver metallic paint as opposed to the orange ones. Plus, my orange ones both had holes in the lenses and one had a crack in it.

After

It doesn't look rice. It looks good. Especially on a white car.

clear is not rice, haha, only clear tailights are

But yes they do add a bit more modern look, I have them as well, just remember to put orange bulbs behind them now, to keep it legal and it looks better imo.

Haggis,
They are, NEW 86-95 MR2 MR-2 7"X6" BLUE CRYSTAL HEAD LIGHTS HID. I got them on Ebay from user: carpartnation.

Ben,
If only I had a white car .

SteveAW11,
Utah state law specifies front turn signals can be "amber" or "white" and rear turn signals must be "amber," I'm going to try the orange ones that I have just to see how they look and if I like them.

ok, i dont have these but i have worked with other forms. they should be a direct fit that would have to rewire. it wasn't hard, infact the hardest part was screwing the headlight up.

Actually the headlights were a direct replacement. They came with the head lamps and Xeon(sp?) H4 bulbs as a set. The fit was tight due to the added "day time running lights" which I didn't even bother wiring up. There was no hard wiring to do (unless you want the useless running lights), it was plug & play.

Another trick if you need to use orange bulbs and you can see them through the clear lense you can spray paint them silver so during the day they are hided but when turned on the orange will still go through the paint

Damn I wish I had cash right now... Oh well. My car is bright ass orange, so the yellow signals aren't so bad.
