overflow tank rotted

Will any overflow tank work in its place? Its nearly impossible to find a replacement tank that isnt all rotted just like mine....

Yes, as long as the downspout is working correctly, and it has a spot for the coolant line from the thermostat housing. I was thinking about going to an aluminum one...

There's a few options here
Catch Cans & Expansion Tanks

But some modification might be required depending on the style.
