Unbolt the old one, bolt the new one on. It's just 1 bolt that holds the BOV on for an MR2

You could get a car model specific flange that bolts into where the stock bpv goes or weld on in.

I have the HKS SSQV for my 2 and the model specific flange. Took less than 5 minutes to install.

If your car didn't come with a BOV, then you probably don't need one. Well unless your bolting on a turbo.
