Ever Driven a 4age without TVIS

Well due to stupidity on my part I am and it is WEIRD!!!

car has no torque or power till around 4000 rpm

(i broke the electronic connector that controls the tvis vacuum. time for a trip to the scrap yard)

Anyway if anyone else has stories about driving a nontvis 4age feel free to share

yeah, i noticed a hissing noise coming from under my intake manifold once. found out the nipple from the VSV to the TVIS hose had broken off, meaning the tvis was always open. like you said, it was pretty gutless below 4500 rpm or so.
