a low pop up headlight or stationsry headlights?

anyone got headlights that pop up really low or some that are stationary? if not lets see some ideas?

idea 1: Take the turn signal and swap it out for the headlight and adjust how high the headlights open. thats if the turn signals are the same width. putting them at the right angle to see the road would be the only issue i see.

idea 2: just create basically buckets and insert 2 headlights from other cars in the "buckets" so like the miata's headlight conversion looks. idk how this would be achieved but iw would look good if done right.

so you can have it as sleepy eyes. then when you turn your headlight on it will pop open fully? then when you turn it off it will go back to sleepy eyes again? is that how it works?

how do you wire them up? is it hard? do you splice the wirings at the headlight controller and have the pivot wired all the way inside the car?

Yes you have to splice it on the frunk and u have to run a wire from the frunk to the inside so you could relocate the controller. You have to go to der sight (pivot) so u could get the schematics.

did you install this yourself? i found the schematics and everything on how to put it on. the website is pivotusa.com but i am really bad when it comes to splicing wires and stuff. is there anyway you can take pics of where you mounted your pivot controller and the pic of the OEM headlight controller so that i can see what wire goes into what. thanks

if 1 headlight doesn't want to go up that means the headlight motor is gone, you'll have to buy a new one and replace it

ok albert i think this is ok... sorry im in a rush have to baby sit!! so here we go
the pic

and dont forget that you have to connect the gray to ur power 12v.
heres the controller at the driver side!

i know the pic is a lil mess up i was on the rush lol
but the black wire from pivot goes to the red wire from the black box.. you have to leave a good(long)enough wire from the black box.
if not just let me know i have to chk again lol!and from the other end of the red wire you have to connect the yellow wire from the pivot

and the long a$$ red with fuse that would be goin to ur ground...

well sorry again for this i just have to rush... if want ill take a pic...but not awhile..

you make it sound so easy. i was reading the manual and they make it seem difficult. i will definitely buy these when i have some money. coz the cheapest one i can find is 100 bucks. you only have 1 or 2 steps that you did while the manual have a few. but hey it works fine for you so that is really good. here is the link. sw20 is on page 9. i will pm you when i get these pivot. so i can ask for help.
