Question switch or something else?

My brights work great but when put into regular mode they don't turn on. The lights do come up but no light comes out. Driving with brights in the city gets me a lot of flashes...and not the good kind. I am thinking it might be the switch but i didn't know if there was a common wire or fuse issue that could cause that.

Thanks

Two likely problem areas occur to me. Your light switch on the dash could be at fault.

But I think more likely is the turn signal lever off the steering column. This part can become gummed up with dust, oil, dirt and start malfing. You might want to source these two parts, especially the turn signal lever at a junkyard. You could trying cleaning and lubricating the switch mechanism at the end of the signal lever before replacing it. Good luck!
