Frunk won't latch.
I've been repairing some front end damage to my '86 mr2. I'm trying to put everything back together. The only problem have is I can't close the frunk. I mean it won't latch. It catches the hand release, but not the latch that locks it down. Any ideas or simple fixes would be great. No bungy cords, please.

The closed position of the latch requires very precise positioning of the latch and catch bar. You will have to adjust these two items so that when the latch closes, the bar will be precisely in the lower notch position of the latch. Try loosening mounting bolts and repositioning the latch. Bend stuff back to where it was if you have to.
