Oil pan gasket
Has anyone used the fel-pro oil pan gasket? If so, are they any good? Advance auto parts has them for $11.

using it on my 91 N/A... Its like a cork type gasket. I still coated it with silicon gasket on both sides prior to putting them in.

Good to hear people have had good luck with them. Anyone figure out why there's two gaskets?

you are going to need to clean off the old rtv anyways for the paper gasket, why not just use RTV? instead of buying a 4 dollar tube of RTV now you are going to spend 15 dollars on bolts, 11 on gasket, and down time getting the right bolts. also risk oil seepage from the crappy paper gasket in the long run, if its paper, oil will seep. |

The baffle is to keep oil from splashing on the crank. Especially at high RPMs in a corner... Exactly what the car was built for
