power -> manual question

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering what would be involved in converting power windows, locks and mirrors to manual. I'm looking into doing this for simplicity and minor weight savings. The mirrors and locks seem pretty straight forward at first thought, all you would have to do is remove the switches and motors and you're right where a manual MR2 would be, right? The windows seem a little more complicated.

Can anyone offer any insight? Thanks.

Ryan

Its definitely do-able. Just swap out the guts from a manual door and take yours out. The old setup will be worth a hundred or two to someone who wants to keep their power windows working.

I will trade. I will ship you my non-power window regulators and pay for shipping of the power. Let me know how much you want for the lock solenoids.

My Google Map

i have the same power windows but i think i need to take the switch apart to fix it. all the buttons work but the one to raise the driver window. the one to raise the driver window all the way up or down works. i'd rather have crank windows tho so if anyone wants to trade lemme know!
