I noticed under my car theres a hole in my exhaust and water or alot of steam comes dripping out of my exhaust tip any ideas why thats happening? Also my alternator shakes alot so when car is running it rattles but when i put my finger on the alternator it stops i tried tightining all the bolts and the belt is on there strong but still rattles.. this is probably all stupid questions but im no mechanic and i dont have money for a mechanic so im trying to learn how to do it myself.

well, you should get the whole in your exhaust welded, or replaced, the water/steam, is normal. nothing to worry about.
and about the rattleing. this happened to me before, it turned out to be i was missing a screw under the alternator. i would double check for any missing screws. LOL |

As mentioned above, the water is normal, it's a byproduct of burning gas (hydrocarbons)
