Lets see those Wheels / Rims on your MK1's

I was going to go with 88' SC OEM wheels but now I'm thinking I want to go with 15" or 16" wheels. That being said, I really don't want to spend a ton of money on them.

Can you guys please post pictures of your wheels mounted on your Mk1's? Any info you can provide about the rims would be much appreciated (weight, price, where you bought them etc.). Thanks!

Just some 16's I dont know the brand. I bought them for 125 off craigslist because they had good tires. The ride was good with them but I switched back to steel 14's because tires are dirt cheap. I sold the 16's for 120 a few months ago.

Not bad. They look a bit out of place on that car but nice wheels.

Nice. How big are they and how much do they weigh? I think you said you were going to remove the mazda symbol right?

I think the MK3 wheels look the best on the MK1 and can be had fairly cheap.

Yeah, I like them too. Only thing is, I can't frind them for less than $150/wheel. I guess that's not too bad but I'd expect them tyo be a bit cheaper. Are those 15's?

Yes they are 15's. I have seen them for sale with tires for $300.

I'm running polished MK3 wheels. 15x6F & 15x6.5R. I like 'em but if I had it to do all over I'd probably go with a 4 spoke wheel. Like the Axis Maglite. I'd sell them for $300 + shipping (w/o the rubber, which is new (200-400 miles) Yokohama S Drives and could be part of the sale if you're interested).

Looks great! I'd liek them more if they weren't polished but much better than stock. Nice job.

I like the black rims on the red MK1. Plus they are Rota so I'm sure they are pretty light. Nice MRMachinist!

They would look better if you dropped the suspension a bit.
