87 Climate Control teardown

so im in the process of changing all the bulbs in my cluster and climate control with leds. i have the climate control out of the car and was trying to take it apart but i cant seem to get the board out. i can pull it like alittle to where all the buttons on the front go flush but thats about it.. and there is a plug underneath (that i circled in one of the pics) that i cant seem to figure out how to get it out. i thought at first that just the one bulb lit up everything but i was wrong.. that or there is like a green cover under all those buttons that i want to get rid of since i want everything blue.. any help would be great.

nevermind figured it out.. had to take all the buttons on the front off.
