swapping the 87 mr2

hey guys i have lots of questions because im new. a friend of mine has a 1993 5sfe with everything. plus tranny and axles. and i wanted to know if i could swap it into the 87 mr2 n/a.

It's called an MK1.5. It is alot of work. Not only do you have to weld up all new mounts, but you also have to rewire the entire harness. It is by no means an easy swap.

If I were to throw a motor into anything for the purpose of adding power, the 5sfe would definetly not be the motor I'd use. If you're willing to tackle huge projects check out the v6 swap.
