Running Amp Power Cable

I still have my battery located in the engine bay and was wondering where the best place to run the power cable for my amp into the car is.

if your hooking your amp up in the car you can go through thr grommet behind the drivers seat (behind the carpet).

I second that. I run both a 4 ga. and an 8 ga. power wire through it, along with some small ancilliary wires, and it works fine. The 4 ga. feeds a sub amp under the passenger seat and the 8 ga. runs up the to the radio console and splits from there to feed the head unit, alarm, and mid/tweeter amp under the driver's seat. Both power wires have fuses just off the battery, and connect to it via a side post, on a dual post yellow-top Optima. The amps under the seats keep the trunk from getting cluttered and keep things a bit more stealth.
