around here, it's always those douche bags in pickup trucks or SUVs that piss me off... they drive like total as5holes. always tailgating, always speeding, always going in and out of lanes, speed toward redlights. pretty much think they own the roads... total as5holes.

Oh god, you're one of those slow as5holes that gets in my way, aren't you...

I love when I meet someone who actually drives quickly, and I highly respect anyone that wants to pass. That said, it's incredibly rare someone wants to pass me. They say anyone who drives faster than you is a maniac and anyone who drives slower is an idiot... well let's just say there's very few maniacs, and A WHOLE METRIC F#CK-TON of idiots. Speed limits are usually set 20-40mph too slow.

Raptor13x:

A side benefit of hauling ass all the time is . . . . anyone tailing you will be forced to react and blow cover. The agency responsible would then have to produce a different car and driver . . . because you would have noted both the car and driver's face. Or at least, I would have.

After reading Raptor's response, I thought about the other night coming home from my girlfriends house I was playing around on the highway with some jeep. We were both going 80-100 using all 3 lines. He'd pass then I'd pass and slow down next to the cars so he couldnt pass then one would slow down and he'd pass then do the same with me then we just kept going. Then we had a nice stretch with no idiots and started flying. It was great times. We both knew where the pigs hide but they werent out so we just kept going. I made a usual 40 minute trip in 20 mins slowing down for the off ramp sucked then driving through town felt slow because I couldnt open it up.

Thats a sweet ******* neon man. I love how his dents flow so well with rest of the car! That guy has his style Down. seriously though that is kinda a cool bike, but the headlights remind me of something out of Battlestar Galatica lol. What pisses me off the most is when someone pulls over in front of you then slows way the **** down. too bad its not legal to just fire a sidearm into one of their tires. I don't have a problem with anyone driving a certain type of car, just *how* they drive it

Add douchebags that think they are superior because they have a newer car to the list, I keep meeting people that think they are the shiznit because their 94 civic is newer than my 88 SC therefore must be faster and superior to my car. Also V-TEEEEEEEEEEEK does not mean your car does 300mph and a cold air intake does not give you 30hp.

I'm a little concerned that I also like that bike, in black with the chrome you could drive within 30 miles of a school and the cops would be on you

I've got some bad news about late model vehicles. Some of the top of the line GM and Ford pickups will do 0-60 MPH in under 6 seconds! Not to mention the Vette, and the higher end of Mustangs.

One thing I've noticed is that it takes serious skill to hook up the traction on a Mustang, or Vette, etc. Most drivers trying to go fast in these cars would just spin their tires, while the Mr2 driver equally skilled would be way down the road.

I would expect a car that cost good money to go fast, my dads 88 AMG merc which was top of the line once would take a dump on most cars from then and now. I've also never known of a slow vette to be honest, my neighbors 59 could smoke me anyday

Buick's..

There is a Buick Dealer in my town called Arnold Palmer Motors.. I live in Latrobe, PA.. and that is his birthplace.

So, anyway, needless to say there are a LOT of Buicks in the area. I always seem to get behind one on my way to work, as well on my way home from work.

The funny thing is that they drive so slow, but dont' use their turn signals, or use them improperly. There is this one guy in a Buick that slows down 50 feet from a stop sign almost to a dead stop, then just cruises through the stop sign w/o actually stopping.. and never uses a turn signal.

I find this a common thing with Buick owners around here. But, there is this one fella that drives nice, not too fast, not too slow.. just right, slightly agressive, and uses their signals correctly.

Also Mini Van drivers either drive REALLY fast, or so slow that I can walk faster than they are driving.

There is also this guy in a BIG RED Dodge pickup that NEVER uses his signals. I just blared my horn at him a few times were there is a sharp turn that you should definetly use your signal, and he just stares back and me wondering what the heck I'm doing.. He is just clueless! The look on his face is priceless though. Maybe a little dangerous on my part to do that.. but it's worth the risk of maybe teaching him a lesson..

There are so many people that don't use their signals.. it's rediculous. I mean, I'm overally anal about using mine in the correct fashion, even when know one is around.. you never know who is waiting to see what you are going to do up the street a little bit. Every little bit helps other motorists when you use your signals correctly. But, it's pretty rare to see people use them, and use them correctly.

Also, I love when people try to illegally drive off the burm of the road to pass you because they can't wait a few seconds for you to turn. I started making sure that I pull a little off the road myself to prevent people from doing this and throwing all the debris onto my car that lays off to the side of the road.

All MR2'ers with wives heard that exact thing the first time they saw it, mine was no different.

BIG RIGS!!! I apologize to all truck drivers and I have the utmost respect for you and your profession, but hurry the F**K UP!!! What's the point of all that turbo-charged massive diesel torque if you don't use it?! You need to make your deliveries faster and I need to get home/work faster. It's a win-win. And don't even THINK of trying to pass your slightly slower buddy in front of you. If it takes you two minutes to fully pass another rig and merge back over then you didn't have much of a need to pass. All you managed to do was save 30 seconds over your 1,000 mile trip and piss me the F**K OFF!!!

People who buy nice 4X4 trucks/SUVs and then lower them and put 25" rims and ZERO sidewall tires. What's the point of four wheel drive if your rims are going to bend hitting a piece of gravel in the road?

People that don't know how to drive period. I had a lovely start to my 4th of July work weekend by cleaning up a double fatality traffic collision on the highway. Someone who was speeding and was likely eating/talking on the phone crossed over into oncoming traffic and head on hit a vehicle coming the other way. Bad driver died instantly. Innocent driver of the other car died later in the hospital. Impact force was great enough to impale the front transaxle of the bad driver's vehicle into the back of a service truck that was driving the same direction as the bad driver. Even after a long shower, the smell of death and transmission fluid takes forever to clear your nose. DRIVING is the most important thing to be doing while driving. F**k everything else. Just drive and stay alive.
