So i have a massive leak of hydro fluid all over my clutch slave cylinder. Pedal pressure had dropped to nil, i luckily made it home.
I'm going to change out the slave cylinder and was considering replacing the metal line into the clutch slave from the bracket down near the exhaust and also change the fittings. I went to the auto parts store nearby and it seems like 1/4" tube but the inside diameter of the tubing is smaller than the tube from the car. Anyone know the size of this tube and/or the fittings? If i used regular smaller interior diameter tubing will it work properly? I'm getting the new clutch release cylinder tomorrow and would like to get the tubing at the same time if possible. Can cut/flare/bend my way to success but grumble grumble. ![]() Last edited by Tooljst8; 07-03-2009 at 02:58 PM.. |
