the car has won...
well so i got the new clutch cyls and went to install them. the master went in with minimal pain, as for the slave... it took over an hour to get the old one out. then i went to put the new one in and got it almost in to the point where i had to connect the last of the tubes(the one that points to the front of the car) and it just wouldn't go in. no matter what i did i couldn't get it to line up right and now it sits again. i am now almost at breaking point. i really don't want to pay someone to install it but if that's what i gotta do i will have too... sorry to rant i am just frustrated...

I went through that with my 87 when I replaced the clutch last year. The easiest way to go about this is to take the exhaust manifold out so you can see what you're doing. Also unbolt the mount that goes through the trans into the engine. This will give you some room to play. I just did this on my 88 20v swap and it went in so easy. Last year, I spent 2 days getting the 2 bolts in. This time, it took less than 15 mins.

so after the frustration cleared, i went out and looked at it. it seems the the hose to the master is stripped out on the end. it has duct tape on it anyways so i guess replacing it all will probly be worth it.
