stupid question...
I have an 86 mk1. I was wondering why the e-brake light is always on when i drive BUT its not bright- when i pull up the brake handle the light gets brighter. Is it supposed to be like this or what could be wrong?

could also be a wiring issue. I have one in my car that for a few seconds powers my clock when I start my car and I dont even have a fuse installed for that lol. still trying to hunt it down.

maybe it is the fluid level in the brake master, or the indicator on the fluid cap is faulty.
