I'm down just out of Charlotte... slightly southeast in the county over from the one Charlotte is in. We've got a shop and I've got a parts building out back and several mr2's in the yard . Dad has the mk2, I've got several mk1's right now.

Kinda dead thread revival, I just got my pics uploaded so I threw this up. I dont have a clue why I went with the blue filter. I was going to go with the gray one or the red one when I was driving to the store but when I got there I picked up the blue and bought it. I dont know why and I really dont care because it does the same thing. I still have to come up with a solution for the engine lid. I dont have the coolent overflow in the stock location so that vent is just going to rain right on my alternator and the other on the filter. I have an idea but for now, I'll just cover it up.

you know if you had some magnetic sheets like fridge magnets you could just cover the holes when you're parked. its not the ideal solution but i think it might work out pretty well. i can't see the pics cause they blocked them but when i get home ill take a look!

The car is stuck sitting under the car port till I can get the parts to make it running and get it going legally. I have a second lid to cut into and weld up so it's just a matter of time before I do something.
