alternator advice - Page 2

I know this is kinda old but I just bought an alternator from Oreilly's for $110 and it has Lifetime warranty. Changed it out in the parking lot and the car was good to go

i checked the box and it says its reman. how the hell can they claim its new if its been reman?

Usually with reman, it's only the parts that dont wear out that are used. They sure look new. We sell them at work all the time and we very rarely get them back. Most will come with atleast a 1 year warrenty.

for 140$ i am sure this one has a good one. ill need it because VA has started to rust my air filter that i just put on not more then a week ago. i hate this place...

Shoulda went with something like silicon tubing, stainless, or aluminum.

i thought it was stainless haha, why would they sell anything else here! it always rains! i talked to the guy and i might just use the stock air line.

we used to have a house in chincoteague virginia...and it made my cd player corrode and oxadize and what not...just a week is all it took

AUTOZONE sells em with a lifetime warranty so anytime it fails youreturn and get a new one for free!!!!!...

good times! so imma give a sit rep:

the alternator has been installed and is working fine! it was a pain in the ass but i got it done. as for the filter, its just the hose clamp so it might be ok.
