with any signs of rust..... the value greatly decreases......
at the very least, if it's just surface rust that entire quarter panel should be sanded down and repainted..... As much as everyone hates it when I state this (and anyone who has ever tried to sell their MK1 for what they believe it's 'worth' can probably attest to this).... AW11's just aren't a high selling car..... it's not an ae86 nor have the 'street' value that one does. You can easily buy a good running & clean chasis for around $1,000 or $1500 for a really nice one.... In my opinion, if there's rust, it's nowhere near "great" condition per KBB. Keep in mind that KBB values are based off of actual car sales, not just random figures. |
