Engine Rebuild Tip needed

I'm doing plastiguage measurements for my rod/crankshaft bearings.

Does anyone know how to easily freeze the crankshaft so that it won't rotate and ruin my plastiguage readings?

I guess I could do it the hard way and fabricate some scrap iron and bolt that to where the flywheel bolts on and the other end to a tranny mount bolt hole. I was looking for a handier way than that though.

My Google Map

I don't remember my crankshaft moving during the plasti-guage phase of my 16 valve rebuild. But that was a lot of years ago, sorry I can't be of help.
