Oil pressure question.

Understandable.. However, I work at a HD diesel repair shop, and the majority of rigs we work on use mechanical oil pressure gauges.. and most have a the minimum 3 (depending on the size of the truck). I've never had any issues with running copper tubing, stainless braided lines, and the cheaper nylon hose into the cabin. Most drivers actually prefer the mechanical style for the simplicity and cost effectiveness.

It all depends on what the owner/driver prefers tho!
