Transmission went Pow!!!

Well the transmission finally went in the '88 MR2 that I just got a month ago. It was grinding in 1, 2, 3, and 5. Tried to shift it in 3rd and I guess I broke the fork? So third was lost. Then about 5 miles later tried to get it in to 5th. It basically sounded like a shot gun and I thought it dropped from the car. Fun stuff. Any who I got it home the next day with 2nd and 4th gear. Needless to say the transmission is out now, took about one and a half hours to pull. Now I've got to wait till 10 before I can grab another...Guy that I got it from had 3 spare tranny's but sold the most of them with his other MR2. If that doesn't work, So lady left her number on my car saying she has a '89 she is parting out. So if I can get that cheap I might go ahead and sell some parts on the forum, but of course in the right threads. It just sucks a bit because I just spent $170 for a new throttle cable :C. Oh well, such is life..
