Rust coming out the tailpipe is not that unusual on a car this age, and it's most likely from the muffler. Long as you're not having head gasket symptoms, nothing to worry about.

My Google Map

is it solid or in liquid form?

if it's liquid... then condensation is pulling something out from elsewhere causing the brown color.... not normal...

if it's solid & flaky... it's probably just bits of rust or old/dirty cat chunks
