Name This Hose!
![]() i dunno what the hell is up with the tape and zip ties but no, its unacceptable and needs to be replaced haha. also toyotatech, i wanted you to know i am working on that part to connect my stock intake! i have a plastic pvp end that fits inside the one hole, and a hose clamp to make sure it stays in. bought some clamps for the hose itself so we'll see what happens! |

that is the oil cooler line
be careful with pvc!...i forget what the temperature is...but at a lower then melting point...it realeases highly noxious gas/vapours out of the plastic...on the outside. not great for use on cars |

that pvc might be ok for a temp fix, but go to Lowe's or something to get a 'proper' rubber stopper and use that, some FIPG and that clamp!

no, but the rubber stopper is better. you can find it in the hardware isle/drawers. FIPG is Toyota Formed In Place Gasket. yes, you can use regular rtv, but FIPG FTW!!!

well the engine itself runs around 200 (well engines in general are supposed to...give or take i suppose) exhaust is even hotter...my friend was going to run a pvc intake and another possibly intercooler piping but he found a few articles about how bad of an idea that is
