$1000 to spend on engine mods

My new 88 SC is also my daily driver. I was wondering what mods to buy with $1k. For the time being I am restoring the car but when that is done to increase the power a bit. I don't expect big gains from the 4agze but what can I get for 1k.

I already have a cold air intake and hks exhaust (just back box and not headers).

i would start with brake/suspension/tire refreshment then go to SERIOUS tune-up and all fluid flush/fill. i like to unplug/clean ALL of my engine bay connections and check/refresh ALL grounds. then there is fuel filter change, air filter change and alignment. there is more like more detailed list of what is considered a SERIOUS tune-up. oh! and i like to clean the intercooler our and place a fan underneath.

These cars are BUILT for the turns... you wont get near as much ROI dumping a grand in the engine as you will if you spend that money on suspension! Struts/springs/bushings/etc

I know twosRus.com has a full suspension refresh package for 1000 coincidentally enough.
