how much should i offer?

i am traveling to cali and i was debating buyin a 2 out there instead of renting a car. this guy has and ad up and i was wondering what i should offer him?

1986 TOYOTA MR2 CHEAP! OR TRADE

its a salvage so i am not sure its worth the 1100

thats not gonna happen, not to me anyways. she likes it lol. i never understand why people would get rid of a car they already own to buy another one? i mean if its better then sure. but trading in an mk1 to a dealer is a horrible idea. you'll never get the money its worth. glad my female unit likes my 2 tho, i don't have to argue about keeping it. not that there would be an argument at all...

actually the circumstance was that she knew how to drive standard and actually owns an 85 2 and she wanted me to sell my 86 project 2, buy her 85 for something like $8500 and not touch anything on it leaving it completly stock

my girl begs me every day to finish fixing the coolant system so she can ride in it again, and wants to learn to drive in it as well

my girl told me to sell my 2 got in a big fight bout it then i finally told her....sell ya amg benz then give me the money and ill go buy something else but im not selling the 2

it wasnt even about the money she just wanted me to get rid of it and get a "real car" i was like girl daddy dont buy my **** so i got what i got she just hates the fact that monday through friday we use her car and the weekend we use her car to go out to tha races and all the meets...idk i just told her to get over it cus im not selling my car

i taught my girl how to drive stick in my car. she didnt kill it or burn the clutch... she didnt even grind gears. however she did get so nervous she forgot to steer for awhile.

well toyotatech i fixed that, but the bigger problem is the blown headgasket. this led me to notice the cracked intake gasket on the silvertop, so unless someone can get me the ITB=>HEAD plastic gasket, i'm stuck waiting till i have 350 bucks to finish this head gasket change
