seized sc

hey, first post and everything but I have been looking at craigslist for a mr2 and found a cool SC MR2 for 800. the problem is the engine seized while driving (broken oil pressure line I guess) and I am not sure how easy that would be to possibly fix. There are some tricks out there to unseize it but being a college student and having limited resources is a problem (living in appartment and very limited budget). It also doesn't have any tires or rims (I have an old celica and can swap those wheels for the trip home). since it seized while driving, I feel like the engine might be gone. any advice? I am thinking about offering them 200 for it and just hoping I can rock the seize out or something. thanks! also, anyone know how much a salvage company wold offer them for it?

Unless that fix involves temperatures in the few thousand degree Celsius and re-casting the engine it's not going to go again. Also the mkI is a 4x100 stud pattern for the wheels check that your wheels are the same before taking the trip.....also take a good tow rope if you are going to bring it back because that engine ain't moving that car.

It's illegal to use a tow rope/strap pulled by another vehicle. We did it with my 2 when I got stranded then my dad was talking to a few people who said we were lucky we didnt see any cops. I'd pass on the car unless it was about 3 hundred and you are just going to put another 4agze in it.
