lol thanks.. yea we have a feeling it might be that or need new water pump so we are tryin that first and then if it is the head gasket we are just goin to buy a new motor

on a quick search the cheapest one i could find is a Stant for $78.75. i'm sure that Autozone must rent one though so why buy it.

yea...idk we didnt wanna have to buy one. but like i said we are gettin the new water pump put in it now. so hopefully that will solve the problem or else we are goin to just have to find a new motor for it

that's a pressure test kit.... not the same tool.

try CSK (checker/schucks/Kraggen), Napa, Carquest, or maybe O'reilly

it uses a special fluid that doesn't react to coolant/water but will react to gasses that may be in the coolant if there's a leak

ok i understand now but the one i posted pressurizes the whole system so even if it's a hose or gasket it can be found.

yes.... however, those test the entire coolant system... so if there's a loose clamp or a slight leak when pressurized elsewhere, it may be taken as a BHG.....

those are really good for checking the pressure of your cap, if you have the right adapter.... when I worked at a shop that's what I checked 90% of the time when I used that tool
