Leaking windows

My windows have been letting in alot of water in heavy downpours. The Ttop seals look like they are in good condition, I assume there is something with the way the glass sits on the rail. I've not yet taken off the door cards and inspected, but does anyone have an idea what it may be?

I have reffered to the BGB and cannot find anything regarding it apart from the exploded diagram.

i can promise you its the t-tops. i am going through this now. here i am at work, knowing that when i get off, there will be a pool behind my seat. the best thing to do is to be in a car and see where exactly its leaking from. in my case, it leaks where the edge of the t-tops near the window meet the frame of the car. the part where those bars come out of to lock them in place.

I'm sure on mine the t tops are fine. I can see the gap between the top of the window and the t top. I'll also check the hinges.

oh well wouldn't that mean the window isn't going up all the way? also i hear there are these pads that guide the window. they are sposed to be adjustable so maybe you can have them point the window in more? hope those help you out!

hey may be referring to the ones inside the door. They're the only things that look like pads inside there, near the top.

My windows leak too. In my case, its the door gasket... its formed to where the window once was, and no longer is, so it doesn't make a seal against the window in a few places. Relocating the window will help a little, but the window has had various locations throughout the life of the car, and the gasket is molded to various positions...

This may help, also try aerosol lithum grease on all your rubber seals, it makes them plump and soft again.(simply spray it on let it sit for about 2 mins then wipe it off) also try adjusting your door striker.

Hope this solves your troubles...
