Black Painted Rims

So i always dreamed of upgrading my stock 14'' rims to some nice 15s, but never quite had the $. So instead i decided to paint my stock ones with flat black spray paint. I think they came out pretty well if i don't say so myself. What do you guys think?

I think they're pretty hot. Let me know how well they hold up, though. Hardly ever read about success with spraypainted rims. (although I want to try it myself)

It definitely makes the car look like someone younger drives it... the younger crowd likes black rims as an observation.

No matter what rims or what color, the car is never going to look quite right to me until you get some lowering springs.

I prefer silver over black also.

The black looks good. If you're up for more painting try them in white. I just painted the steelies on my civic, they don't look as good as rims ever would, but better than the stock civic hubcaps.

I actually painted the stockers on my MR2 white (they're strictly winter tires).

Well technically I did more than that. I sanded them, bed lined them, sprayed them white and then clear coated. We'll see how well they hold up this winter. I'll post pictures later tonight/tomorrow.
