Things I'd like to see in my aw11
1) v6 engine
2) supercharger 3) stroker kit 4) 6-speed 5) super quiet exhaust 6) some sort of limited slip, since its snowy here and I'm not a fan of one-wheel-drive So... I know that it's possible to get a v6 in this car, so it has to be possible to get a stroker v6 (since its the same size), and it's likely that its possible to fit a supercharger in there, too. Is it reasonable to get a 6 speed in there with a v6? How about with a limited slip? I've just purchased my first house, and I've got a full basement (and a 1-car garage, but that's not really adequate for rebuilds, only barely for installing this sort of stuff) and I'm thinking I'd like to do a complete v6 supercharged stroker in the basement over the next few years, so I'm just looking for some input. |

i think you could probably check out Paul Woods' work and find the V6 swap: i believe i had read that he has accomplished this.
all of those things are fairly feasable; depending on your personal abilities/depth of your wallet. |

Same way I'm getting it in; Theres some nice stairs through a bulkhead, I figured I'd build a sled of sorts out of 2x4's and drag it up. (With the help of a few friends, that is!)
As for depth of wallet, I just bought a house. I can't even afford to eat this week ![]() |

thanks.
it's a 50's house, needs all new wiring, windows, etc etc... so yeah, basically all the money left over after the mortgage payment will be for fixing the house. But I'll have one ![]() |

As far as snow weather and the v6 goes.. It will be to heavy in the rear to have any fun on corners. I would recommend the 20v swap and a turbo. But for summer driving a SC v6 is actually GREAT for mileage! Good luck

It's plenty of fun around corners as it is, and some fun trying to go in a straight line... with a v6, the straight line will be more fun
![]() Besides, To do the v6 I'll have to move the battery to the front, and I'll want a second battery for something else anyway... I could just throw some cinder blocks in the frunk to make up for it. The extra weight on the steering would be nice in the snow anyway. |

i'm in a 1950's house currently. i guess i'm a bit idealistic that American 'craftsmanship' was better then. maybe with some things. but i don't think (after dealing with this house) that craftsmanship was all that it seemed to be. money pit is an understatement! but, some of the materials were better (i found red oak hardwood under wall-to-wall carpet) than that of today, but some of it not-so-much. |
